Manic Monday CAS card - A Sympathy Card

Hey everyone!

It's Manic Monday so I'm posting a CAS (Clean and Simple) card once again. This card uses Baja Breeze card stock (coming back July 1!) and Whisper White card stock. Simply run the card through your Sissix Big Shot using aStampin' Up! Backgrounds #1 texture plate (#114512) I used shims and spritzed card stock with water before running this through so I got a deeper impression.

Take a scrap of Baja card stock and stamp your greeting. I used Close As a Memory (#114946) stamp set.

I mounted it on WW card stock and tied an WW Organza ribbon (#114319 )on it to finish it off. I like the tone on tone effect for sympathy cards, it's restful visually.

The day here promises to be in the 90s so I've go the house open and am pulling in fresh air. That way, if I have to run AC later I won't feel penned in. Isn't it weird? I can be inside with the heat on and no windows open and I'm fine. Put the Air on and close the windows and I feel a little trapped. Don't get me wrong! I'm overjoyed to turn on that air when it gets this sticky and hot, I just love feeling the weather, ya know?
