Upsy Daisy with Faux Embossing

Hey!
It's new catalog day! You can order whatever your little heart desires out of the new 2010-1011 Idea Book and Catalog (IB&C). I have only a few left before I'll have to reorder.

Baja Breeze is BACK! WHAHOOOIE! I even painted my bathroom that color ... see pic below.

This card uses Baja Breeze, Night of Navy and Whisper White. I used the Faux Embossed Technique which is layering the colored ink with Whisper White. See how it pops? The stamp set is Upsy Daisy, one that I love. I used the old ribbon and button simply because I had them and I'm not going to throw them away just because they aren't in the new catty, right? I put a Real Red brad into the button to give it that hint of contrasting color.

I cut two top notes, one in Baja and one in W.White. The cut the WW top note in half and moved it to each side of the Baja note. Stamped the sentiment in NON, punched it with the oval punch and then punched a shadow oval in NON. This couldn't have been easier!

A hint ... use the Stamp-a-ma-jig when you line up the White on top of the Baja for the flowers. It's just too hard to eyeball it.

Have a great day my peeps!
Much love and joy,
