Celebrate Good Times

It's that time of year again! A time when we say a fond farewell to the stamp sets and accessories we love and welcome new and exciting stamps, accessories and colors! I can't wait! During June I'm hoping to post some work that uses sets that are retiring. You can see what sets those are by clicking on the side button or Last Chance List. Here's today's card. It uses the retiring set Celebrate Everything (#114942)

I used Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip card stock for this one. I stamped the sentiment on Whisper White card stock with chocolate chip ink. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig (#101049) to line up the smaller stamp then used the piercing tool (#116631) to make the holes at the bottom of the greeting. Remember to order the Mat Pack (#105826) to make those holes uniform distance and size like mine.  

I clipped the corners with the Ticket Corner punch (#107214) and roughed up the edges of the chocolate chip mat with the Cutter Kit (#106958). Love that little tool! I punched out flowers using the Boho Blossoms punch (#110711). Before I taped anything to the card (which measure 3x6 inches by the way) I prepared the DSP.

Here's the fun part of the project! I took Chocolate Chip Patterns DSP (#112164) and brayered Baja Breeze ink over it! The card stock is dark enough so the brown masks the baja color and the white portion shows up as baja! Isn't that t-r-i-c-k-y??? Thought you'd love it!

Put the whole thing together and VOILA! There it is. Oh yeah, don't forget the brad to secure your blossoms!

Last Chance List is the list of items that are being discontinued. Your best bet for accessories is to order on-line. If you feel more comfortable ordering with me that's fine too. Quick Thinking Stamp Set for Sale

This set is called Quick Thinking and it's one I got in the Demonstrator Kit. It was sold in the catty for a little while but retired some time ago. It does come with the card although was used maybe once or twice only. The price is $8 plus $5 Priority Mail flat rate shipping. There is only one of this set.

Around & About Stamp Set for Sale

This set is called Around & About and is a set of four frames. The set is is gently used so comes with the card you see. It is the only one of its kind and is dated 2003 so you won't find it very easily. It sells for $8 plus $5 Priority Mail flat rate shipping.

So Many Scallops

This set is called So Many Scallops and was a Sale-a-bration set. It is selling for $8 plus $5 Priority Mail flat rate shipping. The card comes with the one set that is gently used. I have another set that is unused. Please specify which one you'd like when you order.

The stamp with the crescent moon that says Sweet One says "Dimples, giggles, cuddles divine, all come together, sweetness combined." All of these stamps fit with the scallop circle punch (#109043 in the 2009-2010 IB&C).

Botanical Blooms Stamp Set for Sale

Botanical Blooms is a 2-Step Stamp set. You can stamp the outline in one color, usually the darker tone, and ink up the filler stamp with a lighter or contrasting tone! It was a Sale-a-bration set a few years back. Price is $8 with $5 Priority Mail flat rate shipping. The card is included with one set that is gently used. I have another set that is unused for the same price but no card.

Alphabet Soup

This set is called Alphabet Soup and is a blast to color with markers to get various colors on the letters. It was a Sale-a-bration set quite a few years ago. It will come with the card sample. The price is $8 plus $5 Priority Mail flat rate shipping. Remember if you order in quantity the shipping gets cheaper. Also, there are no duplicates of this, it is the only one of its kind that I own but I simply must make room for the new.

From the Garden Background Stamp

This is From the Garden (#111043) background stamp and was a hostess selection in the past. It is unused and priced at $13 with $5 Priority Mail flat rate shipping.
