Autumn Mouse

Good morning,

I know, I know ... another mouse. I just thought he was soooo cute! I used Watercolor paper and stamped the image in StazOn ink. The card is Really Rust, the mat is Ballet Blue. The brads are More Mustard.

I colored the image with my Stampin' Write markers and gave the mouse some shading by bleeding his fur color with my aquapainter.

I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the leaves for a crisp fall look and made his little cheeks and nose pink with cold. Okay, I'm into it a little much. I love images like this!

That's it for me today. My son is not feeling well so is in bed needing me. Take care and stamp, stamp, stamp!

Much love and joy,

My Little Mouse with Owie

Good morning everyone,

Okay, so the image isn't Stampin' Up! but the rest of the card is! You know how I am about my little cartoon mice. I had to get this since I've been on crutches since my hip surgery. It's even the correct leg!!

I used Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake and Watercolor paper. The image was laid down with Black StazOn ink. The images were colored with Stampin' Write markers and bled with an aquapainter. The mongo huge button is from the Holiday Mini catalog. I liked using Vanilla so I would have contrast with the Kraft taffeta ribbon, they had Crumb Cake colored buttons too though. Either will work.

Isn't a precious look with the button being to scale with mice?
I'm on the fly this morning so I'll catch you later. Have a great day, and for pity's sake, STAMP something.
Much love and joy,

House Mouse Friend card

I rarely use anything other than SU product but sometimes these little mice get me, right here (hand over heart). I used Bermuda Bay card stock and used the punch on the bottom. I then used the punch on 1 1/2 inch strips of Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry. The ribbons were the same colors obviously. Don't you love the way SU matches everything!?

The stamp is on Watercolor paper and double matted on mambo and curry. I used Stampin' Write makers to outline the line art and then bled them with an aqua painter for shading. I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the dandelion puff as a final touch. It makes me smile to look at these little critters. Here's hoping SU comes out with more nature and whimsical critter stamps ... remember the hedgehogs? Loved 'em!

Have a great Sunday. I have to fly. Church starts in a half hour and I'm still talking to you.
God bless,
