It's Scrappin' Saturday!

Hello there!

This is the first page of a two page spread. The pages are 8 1/2 x 11.

We used Creamy Caramel, Always Artichoke and Chocolate Chip card stock. I pulled the caramel color from the moon the artist is sitting on and went with it for both pages.

The ribbon is Kraft (Crumb Cake) taffeta and the brads are the chocolate chip epoxy brads that were sold in the Occasions Mini catalog. I heard a rumor that they made it into the new 2009-10 catalog but don't quote me on it ...

I cut each of the rest of his top ten in uniform sizes and adhered them to the page. I thought about doing the little lists on the computer and still might but I'm trying to get over my own handwriting, you know? It might look more polished but when I look back it's fun to see what various people's handwriting looks like.
I numbered the pics so there wouldn't be any confusion on which was which, that I did stamp. It's a fairly bare page once again but the focus is top ten list itself. I'd like to do one about every 5 years or so. I started one for myself too but haven't finished that one.

Thanks for stopping by my Cyber Craft Room. Have a lovely Saturday and see you tomorrow!
Much love and joy,

  1. Great idea -- it'll be fun to see in 10 years if any of these still make his 'Top 10'. I totally agree about handwriting versus printing it on the PC -- I hate my handwriting, but when I go through old letters from my mom and grandma I love seeing their handwriting.

  2. Yeah, handwriting's a hard one for me too. But I agree that it makes it so much more special to other people. This is a great idea, noting what the favorites are from time to time.

  3. Sigh. I know. My handwriting deteriorates as I get older but what the heck, it'll give people something to laugh about, right?
