Stamping and Scrapbooking

Welcome to my stamping blog. My name is Karen and I'm a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! I love stamping and want to share it with you! I'll try to post cards, scrapbook pages and give you the latest Stampin' Up! news. Please be patient because I don't know how to embed all the enhanced options on blogs yet. Bear with me and we'll get there.

Clear mount blocks
SU has integrated acrylic clear mount blocks into the last two mini catalogs and will have them in the new Idea Book & Catalog due out July 1, 2010. Many of you have asked how you can unmount your wooden block mounted stamps so they can be cling stamps as well.

Here's how....
Place them in the microwave for 10 seconds (no longer)
Gently peel off the rubber and foam
Gently peel off the sticker
Using SU tombow multipurpose adhesive apply a thin layer on the foam
Attach the sticker and trim to fit
Then apply another thin layer of SU tombow let dry
Place the stamp adhesive side down on the back of your hand to reduce stickiness
