It's 3-D Friday!

I had a 3D project for today but it's so dark here with heavy rain that I can't get a good shot no matter how many lights I have on! So I thought I'd include a previously taken photo with kind of a 3D effect using one of my all time favorite sets, Lovely as a Tree (#115026). The back card is a single layer of Really Rust with WW and Always Artichoke color blocks.

The oak tree is matted with Basic Black and Really Rust. It's adhered to the WW underneath which is decorated with the oak leaves from the set. I used Water Color Wonder Crayons and an aqua painter to color the leaves, tree, and ground the image. The strap like tabs are a product of the Word Window punch (#105090) secured with Antique Brads (#109109).

Hopefully, I 'll be able to take more 3D pics next week ... if the sun ever returns!  Have a great day and see you tomorrow for Scrappin' Saturday!

Much love and joy,

  1. Well, this is new to me and I love it! Can you believe that I still don't own this set? I've borrowed it from my upline and love the trees. I'll have to get it for myself someday.

  3. Lovely as a Tree is one of my all time favorite stamp sets. It's been in the catty since I started stamping and I hope they never take it out!
