Celebrate Good Times

It's that time of year again! A time when we say a fond farewell to the stamp sets and accessories we love and welcome new and exciting stamps, accessories and colors! I can't wait! During June I'm hoping to post some work that uses sets that are retiring. You can see what sets those are by clicking on the side button or Last Chance List. Both will take you to my website for the most current information on what is still in stock. Click on the Shop Now button view the item that are done after this month.

Remember Accessories sell out fast so make sure you check my site to see if they are still available. Some items are 25% and 40% off! Don't miss all the great sales.

Here's today's card. It uses the retiring set Celebrate Everything (#114942)

I used Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip card stock for this one. I stamped the sentiment on Whisper White card stock with chocolate chip ink. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig (#101049) to line up the smaller stamp then used the piercing tool (#116631) to make the holes at the bottom of the greeting. Remember to order the Mat Pack (#105826) to make those holes uniform distance and size like mine.

I clipped the corners with the Ticket Corner punch (#107214) and roughed up the edges of the chocolate chip mat with the Cutter Kit (#106958). Love that little tool! I punched out flowers using the Boho Blossoms punch (#110711). Before I taped anything to the card (which measure 3x6 inches by the way) I prepared the DSP.

Here's the fun part of the project! I took Chocolate Chip Patterns DSP (#112164) and brayered Baja Breeze ink over it! The card stock is dark enough so the brown masks the baja color and the white portion shows up as baja! Isn't that t-r-i-c-k-y??? Thought you'd love it!

Put the whole thing together and VOILA! There it is. Oh yeah, don't forget the brad to secure your blossoms!

June Projects
Don't forget to check out the June projects I've posted on side buttons to the right! They're awesome!

So let's talk end of year.

Last Chance List is the list of items that are being discontinued. Your best bet for accessories is to order on-line. If you feel more comfortable ordering with me that's fine too. Just leave me a cell number where I can get a hold of you for alternates if something sells out. Card stock and ink are already sold out in some colors so it's moving fast. You have the whole month of June, however, to order stamp sets.  Find that you're ordering $150 worth? Then you'll qualify for hostess benefits.

As my wonderful upline, Brenda, says .... " ... Want it all? Become a demo!" This is an amazing deal on the starter kit. Click the button at the side of this blog or go to my website at Stamps and Such with Karen to get details.

I know this is a lot of information! Combined with the Color Renovation it promises to be a wonderful year of fresh change!

The catalog is BIGGER this year (I'm lovin' that!) and the price did go up. Please order your catalog at the discounted rate of $10 ($9.95) and get a $5 off your first order coupon. After July 1 they will be full price. Please put the words "catalog pre-order" in the subject line of your e-mail by clicking on the blue Catalog Pre-Order link above.

Well, ladies, that's it for me. I'll have more details as the month wears on!
God bless you today and every day,
Much love and joy,

  5. THanks ladies. I actually went with Baja and brown in my bath remodel (pics on SCS under Karen Jo). LOVE the way it turned out if I do say so myself. You can't fight a tropical color like that! Thanks for stopping by.
